For some activities, we'll be using an internet service called "Lotsa Helping Hands" to coordinate volunteer activities.  

Once you register for this service, you will receive e-mails when new opportunities arise, and you will be able to sign up online for specific commitments.

BINGO

Bingo Volunteers

On Monday evenings from 6-10pm, CAS hosts a community Bingo game.  Dozens of people from all across our area come to participate in this event, and we need volunteers each and every week to help things run smoothly.

Volunteers work in two shifts:
  • Early shift:  5:15pm-7:15pm

  • Late shift:   7:30pm-9:30pm

BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND COMMITTEES

CHESED COMMITTEE

Our chesed committee is always looking for new members.  Please contact Janet Bein (jlbein@yahoo.com) to join this committee.

E-BAY

Donate items that the shul can sell on eBay!!

We are developing a committee to get eBay going again…need people to price objects, take pictures for posting, track items from donation to shipping, pack items to be shipped.  We will be having a Tag Sale, we are looking for sorters, schleppers, pricers, publicity writers, etc….must be willing to laugh, and make friends.

OFFICE VOLUNTEERS

YOUTH PROGRAMS

Youth Activities

Our Youth Committee is always looking for volunteers, both for Shabbat activities and special events. 

Here's how you can help:

  1. We are looking for families to volunteer to host Jr. & Sr. Teen onegs at your home.  It is a wonderful way to help bring the youth of our community together on a monthly basis in a fun Torah environment.  Don't miss out on this very special opportunity!!!  Please email dwolfe85@gmail.com to sign up.

  2. We are looking for chaperones to help on the Martin Luther King Day trip to New York City (January 18).  The trip is from 9:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m.  It is a lot of fun.  Please email dwolfe85@gmail.com to be part of this awesome opportunity.

  3. We are in the process of organizing parents to volunteer on Shabbat at our Mini Minyan program.  Below are the dates that we need to fill.  If you are available to help we would appreciate it.  Please email Alice Janush at ajjj19@aol.com with the dates you are available.
